Prosofsky Joins AHL's Springfield Falcons

Cincinnati, OH-Cyclones coach and General Manager Chris Cichocki announced today that the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League have recalled Cyclones left winger Garrett Prosofsky. Prosofsky leaves Cincinnati as the leading scorer on the team.

Prosofsky is in his third season of pro hockey. He played 53 games with Cincinnati this year recording 22 goals and 28 assists for 50 points. Prosofsky leads the Clones in goals, assists and points.

Last season, Prosofsky played 23 games with Cincinnati recording eight goals and eight assists for 16 points. Prosofsky also played three games in the American League last year. In three games with the Cleveland Barons, Prosofsky had a goal for his only point.

The Cyclones play in Dayton on Wednesday. The sportsjuice.com pre-game show begins at 6:50 p.m. eastern time before the opening face-off at 7:00 p.m.

The Cyclones return home on Friday for a showdown with the Toledo Storm. Game time is 7:30 p.m. WWE Superstar Batista will be in attendance, and U.S. Bank Arena will be hosting the wedding of two Cyclones fans.
