Lynx Make Pair Of Deals

The Augusta Lynx announced Monday that the team has traded forward Matt Dzieduszycki to the Louisiana IceGators for future considerations, while acquiring the rights to defenseman Dan Ennis from the Fresno Falcons for future considerations.

Dzieduszycki, 23, appeared in only 14 games with the team this season, recording eight goals and 15 points to go with an even rating. The third-year pro has spent most of his time this season with the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League, where he is currently assigned. In 47 games for the Rampage this season, he has scored three goals and 11 points while notching 22 PIMs and a -20 rating. The Lynx will be owed the future considerations during the month of June.

Meanwhile, Augusta acquired the rights to defenseman Dan Ennis from the Fresno Falcons for future considerations. The rookie defenseman has appeared in 38 games for Wheeling this season, and none for Fresno. Ennis has three goals and 11 points this season, a +5 rating, and 33 PIMs.

Augusta will get back to action Tuesday night against Gwinnett on the road at 7:05 pm. Pre-game show will start at 6:55 pm with Tom Callahan on EAGLE 102. The Lynx are then back home for a three game home stand against Charlotte Friday, Gwinnett Saturday, and Roanoke Sunday.
