VS REGINA: This is second of six meetings this season between the Pats and the Tigers. The Pats took the first meeting of the season with a 6-2 win in Medicine Hat. Cole Carrier had a hat-trick for the Pats, while Lukas Svejkovsky and Ashton Ferster had the makers for the Tigers. Regina's powerplay is converting at 24.7% which is 3rd best in the Western Hockey League. Ryker Evans leads the Pats in scoring with 4 goals and 18 assists through 23 games this season.
2021-21 WHL RANKINGS: Record (4-15-3-1). Central Div. - 6th. Eastern Con. - 12th. Home (3-6-1-0). Away (1-9-2-1).
VS CENTRAL DIVISION: The Tigers have posted a 3-7-1-0 record so far this season versus Central Division opponents.

LAST GAME: The Tigers were in Brandon to take on the Wheat Kings last night. It was a close affair all night long but in the end the Wheat Kings came away 6-4 victors. Lukas Svejkovsky scored his 50th career goal, Ashton Ferster chipped in his 6th of the campaign. Reid Andresen and Rhett Parsons each had their first of the season last night. Beckett Langkow made 31 saves and was named the games third star.
MILESTONES: Lukas Svejkovsky recently played his 150th career WHL game. The Pittsburgh Penguins draft pick now has 113 points (50G, 63A) after scoring his 50th career goal. Corson Hopwo is closing in on his 100th career WHL point. The forward from Duncan, BC needs only 6 points to cross that threshold. Tigers Defenceman Dru Krebs played in his 100th career WHL game on Saturday vs Brandon.
PLAYER TO WATCH: Reid Andresen was a 1st round pick (11th overall) in the 2020 WHL Prospect Draft. The 5'8 Saskatoon, SK product has six points (1G, 5A) through 33 career games with the Tigers. Andresen is solid defender who is isn't afraid to activate off the back-end and join the rush as a fourth forward. He has a lightning quick release on his shot and reads the ice well. Andresen scored his first goal of the season last night in Brandon.
