Blazers Select Two Players in the 2021 WHL U.S. Priority Draft

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have selected two players in the 2021 WHL U.S. Priority Draft.

In the first round, 10th overall the Blazers selected Mac Swanson from Anchorage, AK. Swanson, who is a forward, is listed at 5'6" and 145lbs. He plays for Team Alaska 15U AAA and had 29 goals, 42 assists and 71 points in 32 games during the 2020-21 season.

In the second round, 35th overall the Blazers selected defenseman Sam Webster from Chandler, AZ. Webster, who is listed at 5'10" and 170lbs, plays for the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes 15U AAA team. In eight games this season, he has two goals and an assist for three points.
