RHP Shelby Miller (1-1, 3.12) vs. RHP Jose Urquidy (4-3, 5.04)

Player of the Week: Missions outfielder Tyrone Taylor has been named the PCL Player of the Week for August 19-25. During that stretch, he batted .560 (14-for-25) with five runs, three home runs, three doubles, 13 RBI, a .621 IBP, and a 1.661 OPS. He joins Aaron Wilkerson as the only Missions players to receive that honor this season. This is the third time in his career that he has received a Player of the Week award.

All-PCL Team: Missions catcher David Freitas has been named to the All-PCL Team. Between Tacoma and San Antonio, Freitas is batting .386 (122-for-316) which currently leads the PCL. His 1.039 OPS is good for fourth best in the league. He has also slugged 12 home runs, 23 doubles, and driven in 79 runs this season. Since 2010, the Missions have had at least one player each year named to the post-season All-Star team.

Season High in Steals: The Missions showed off their speed in last night's game as they stole a season-high five bases. Troy Stokes Jr. and Tyler Austin both tied their career-high's with two stolen bases each while Tyrone Taylor also stole a bag. The Missions currently rank fifth in the PCL in stolen bases and are five back of fourth place Tacoma.

First Career Save: In his 126th career game last night, Missions reliever Bubba Derby did something he had never done before: record a save. After replacing Angel Perdomo with two runners on and two outs in the ninth, Derby came in and struck out the final batter to record his first career save.
