River Cats on the Brink of 12th Division Title as Final Homestand Kicks off Tonight

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - After splitting a series in El Paso this weekend and inching closer to another division title, the Sacramento River Cats return to Raley Field for the final homestand of the regular season with the playoffs in sight. They will begin the final stretch with four games against the Reno Aces (Arizona Diamondbacks) and a four-game, Labor Day Weekend series, brought to you by Crystal Creamery, against the El Paso Chihuahuas (San Diego Padres). The homestand will feature a rehab start from San Francisco Giants pitcher Johnny Cueto tonight, and daily promotions Toyota Family Value Tuesday, Wet Nose Wednesday, and Thirsty Thursday. There will also be a Dereck Rodriguez bobblehead giveaway on Friday, Weirder Things (80's) Night on Saturday, and a special Labor Day Fan Appreciation Day, presented by Hard Rock. Not to mention, the last two fireworks shows of the 2019 season!

Monday, August 26 - River Cats vs. Reno Aces:

Game Time: First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. Raley Field gates will open to all fans at 6:00 p.m.

Baseball Bingo Monday: Each play on the field corresponds to a square on your River Cats Baseball Bingo card.

#OrangeFriday: Live music from The Bitter Diamonds,----- $2 off craft beers in the Knee Deep Alley from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., and postgame fireworks!

Sactown Jersey Auction: We are auctioning off our Friday night threads to benefit the River Cats Foundation. Bid on your favorite player's jersey and have the opportunity to watch fireworks on the field!

Weirder Things (80's) Night: Things might get strange on Saturday, as we celebrate the decade of Trapper Keepers and the Walkman. However, beware of the Demogorgon on what is sure to be a fun-filled night at the ballpark!

Saturday Night Fireworks, presented by Sutter Health: Enjoy a themed fireworks show following every Saturday night game.

Food Trucks: California Street tacos and The Dive Burgers & Brew food trucks will be on the Toyota Home Run Hill.

Sunday, September 1 - River Cats vs. El Paso Chihuahuas:

Game Time: First pitch is at 5:05 p.m. Raley Field gates will open to all fans at 4:00 p.m.

Raley's Something Extra Sundays: Fans who bring a canned food donation of two items will receive a $5 food and beverage voucher for use at Raley Field food and beverage storefronts and portables.

Sunday Funday: Sunday Funday features pregame player autographs, face painters, and Kids Run the Bases after the game.

Labor Day Fan Appreciation Day, presented by Hard Rock Hotel and Casino: Sacramento at Fire Mountain: We're teaming up with Hard Rock Hotel and Casino to say thank you to the best fans in all of baseball, with prize and experience giveaways throughout the game. Plus, join the pregame Wild Card Rewards Sign Up Party beginning at 9:00 a.m. to enjoy a live DJ, food and drinks, as well as hourly prize drawings.
