RIVER CATS NOTES
The Sacramento River Cats won tonight's game, 3-0, their second win of the series...they are now 79-65 on the season, 37-35 in the second half and 12-9 against Reno...their seventh shutout victory this season.
Will Bednar made the start for the River Cats and did not factor into Sacramento's 3-0 victory...his second career start in Triple-A...went 2.2 innings allowing no hits, no runs, three walks and struck out three...now posts a 6.33 ERA (21.1 IP, 15 ER) allowing 24 hits, 12 walks and 22 strikeouts.
Eric Cerantola picked up his sixth save with Sacramento and 17th save of the season...went 1.0 scoreless inning allowing no hits, one walk and struck out three...now posts a 3.24 ERA (50.0 IP, 18 ER) allowing 35 hits, 26 walks and 69 strikeouts across all levels.
Bo Davidson (1-for-4) destroyed a 433-foot three-run home run in the bottom of the third to break the game open, his 10th home run in Triple-A and 29th of the year across all levels...is now hitting .294 (57-for-194) with 13 doubles, one triple, 10 home runs, 40 RBI, a .526 slugging percentage and a .897 OPS in Triple-A.
Victor Bericoto (MLR) went 3-for-4 with three singles...his fourth three-hit game and 16th multi-hit game with Sacramento...he is batting .333 (9-for-27) with two doubles, two RBI, a .407 slugging percentage and a .764 OPS in seven games on rehab.
ACES NOTES
The Reno Aces lost tonight's game 3-0...they are now 64-82 on the season, 32-39 in the second half and 9-12 against Sacramento.
Mitch Bratt made the start for the Aces tonight and picked up his third loss in Reno's 3-0 defeat...went 5.0 innings allowing six hits (1 HR), three runs, one walk and struck out six...now posts a 3.43 ERA (63.0 IP, 24 ER), allowing 50 hits, 22 walks and has struck out 60.
Tommy Troy (2-for-3) had the only multi-hit game for the Aces tonight...is now hitting .316 (66-for-209) with 13 doubles, three triples, four home runs, 30 RBI, a .464 slugging percentage and a .876 OPS in Triple-A this year.
