September 3, 2018 - LAS VEGAS, NV - The Sacramento River Cats (55-85) controlled the lead for eight innings on the season's final day, but surrendered a walk-off home run to the Las Vegas 51s (71-69) as they fell 4-3 to bring a tough 2018 campaign to a close. September 3, 2018 - LAS VEGAS, NV - Ryder Jones crushed a game-tying home run in the eighth inning, but the Sacramento River Cats (55-84) surrendered three runs in the bottom of the frame to the Las Vegas 51s (70-69), falling 5-3 in the penultimate game of the 2018 season. Sacramento was shut out until the eighth inning when Jones tied the game with a towering two-run home run to right field. Big fifth inning pushes River Cats to victory

September 2, 2018 - LAS VEGAS, NV - The Sacramento River Cats (55-83) took down the Las Vegas 51s (69-69) with a 7-3 victory on Saturday night to even the series. Sacramento's five-run fifth inning, fueled by a costly 51s error, proved to be the deciding factor. The inning would have been over on a Myles Schroder flyout, but left fielder Dominic Smith dropped the ball and allowed two runs to score.
