LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 2-0-0 OVERALL RECORD: 21-13-4, 46 pts.

January 18 vs. Pensacola, 4-3 Overtime Win - Captain Dan Tessier capped a four-point performance (2g-2a) with Fresno's first overtime winner of the season 4:03 into the extra session. The Falcons managed to pull out the victory despite relinquishing three one-goal leads in regulation.

January 23 vs. Las Vegas, 4-2 Win - The Falcons grew their unbeaten streak to 10 games with help from Jamie Hodson, who made 37 saves in goal, and David Brisson and Sam Ftorek, who each contributed a goal and an assist. Defensemen Curtis Sheptak and Simon Mangos also scored in the winning effort.

THIS WEEK'S UPCOMING GAMES

Monday, Jan. 24 @ Bakersfield, 7 p.m. - Fresno plays its final game before the ECHL All-Star Break at Centennial Garden against the West Division-leading Bakersfield Condors. Tune in to hear all the live play-by-play action on 103.1 FM, The Mountain Cat, beginning at 6:50 p.m. with the pre-game show.

Friday, Jan. 28 vs. Las Vegas, 7 p.m. - The Falcons return from the break for a re-match with the Wranglers. The first 3,000 fans will receive a Year-at-a-Glance Calendar courtesy of Dumont Printing.

Saturday, Jan. 29 vs. Long Beach, 1 p.m. - The Falcons take on the only team against which they have a losing record - the Long Beach Ice Dogs. The first 3,000 fans will receive a Matchbox Car courtesy of Hedrick's Chevrolet. Please note the early start time.

Sunday, Jan. 30 @ Long Beach, 5 p.m. - Fresno heads to Long Beach Arena to complete a home-and-home with the Ice Dogs. Catch the live play-by-play action on 103.1 FM, The Mountain Cat, beginning at 4:50 p.m. with the pre-game show.

NOTES

. Dan Tessier begins the week tied for fourth in the league in scoring with 41 points (17g-24a).

. Jason Weaver is riding an eight-game point streak (4g-8a) that has moved him into a third place tie in the team scoring race with Derek Krestanovich. Both players have 27 points.

. The Falcons won their season-high fifth straight game by beating Las Vegas on Sunday.

. The team is 12-1-1 over its last 14 games at Save Mart Center with the only loss during that time span a 4-2 set-back to the Long Beach Ice Dogs on Dec. 14.

. Fresno is still unbeaten in the New Year with a record of 9-0-1 in 2005. The team's last loss in regulation came on New Year's Eve, 4-3 to the Wheeling Nailers.

. The Falcons are ranked 10th (17.3%) on the power play and 17th (83.0%) on the penalty kill.

. Fresno begins the week in a tie for fourth place in the West Division with the San Diego Gulls. They trail the third-place Alaska Aces by two points in the standings and the division-leading Bakersfield Condors by nine points.
