STORM NOTES
- Slonina Shines Through! With his 3-goal weekend, Steve Slonina bumped his goal total up to 4 on the season. He scored the game winning goals on Friday and Sunday.
- Fankhouser Continues On! Goaltender Scott Fankhouser has started 12 straight games for the Storm, including every game in the month of January (11). Scott's record over that time is 7-3-1. He has a 1.86 Goals Against Average and a .928 Save Percentage during that stretch.
- Twenty Is Here! Sunday's 2-1 win over Dayton was the twentieth of the season for the Storm. Toledo did not win its twentieth game last season until February 14th, and only won 23 games all season.
- Toledo is 11-6-1 at home and 9-8-3 on the road this year.
- Toledo's power play unit ranks 19TH in the ECHL, with 26 power play goals in 172 chances (15.1%).
- The penalty kill unit of Toledo has allowed just 23 goals in 165 chances against this season (86.1%). That is 7th in the ECHL.
STORM WATCH
- Due to the All-Star Break there will not be a Toledo Storm Coach's Show this Tuesday night. The Storm Coach's Show will return next Tuesday night.
- Toledo returns to action Friday night against the Reading Royals. Toledo is 1-2-0 against the Royals this season. Toledo defeated Reading December 22 3-2 in a shootout, lost 2-5 December 21st and 2-4 January 16th. Rick Judson has a pair of goals against Reading. Jeff Miles has tallied four goals for Reading against Toledo. Ryan Kinasewich (14-19-33) is Reading's team leader in points.
- Saturday night the Storm travel to Peoria for a date with the Rivermen. Toledo is 3-2-0 against the Archrival Rivermen. Toledo has won both games in Peoria (1-0 November 20th, 2-1 December 17th). Tyler Knight has 2 goals and 2 assists versus Peoria. Goaltender Logan Koopmans is 2-0-0 with a 0.47 GAA and a .984 SVP against the Rivermen. Brian McCullough has four points (3-1) versus the Storm.
- Sunday afternoon, the Storm will play host to the San Diego Gulls. This is the first ever meeting between these two teams. San Diego is 21-12-4 on the season, and is led by Sylvain Deschatelets (10-19-29).

Steve Slonina (3 goals - 1 assist = 4 points) Steve finished off a 4-point weekend with the game-winning goal Sunday against Dayton.

Scott extended his consecutive starts streak to 12 over the weekend.
