Friday, January 28th Inferno @ Gwinnett Gladiators
The Inferno is 2-1-1 against the Gladiators this season and 5-3-3 all-time. The Gladiators are in third place in the South Division with 44 points (20-13-4).
Saturday, January 29th Inferno @ Charlotte Checkers
This is the eighth out of 10 meetings between Charlotte and Columbia. The Checkers are in first place of the East Division with 50 points (24-14-2) in 40 games. The Inferno has only played 35 games on the season. Columbia is 3-3-1 against Charlotte this season and 14-5-3 all time.

Tuesday, January 18th INFERNO 1 Greenville 0
Brad Ralph scored the only goal for the Inferno as they beat the Greenville Grrrowl 1-0 to take lone control of third place with 41 points (19-11-3). In the second period, at 9:22, D'Arcy McConvey passed the puck to Ralph from the blue line as he turned and fired the shot passed Greenville's goalie Mike Brodeur. Matt Ulwelling gets called on a holding penalty with 2:04 left on the clock in the third period to force the penalty kill. Greenville pulls their goaltender and plays 6-on-4 but quickly realizes the brick wall Inferno goaltender Rob McVicar had built. McVicar earned his second shutout of the season and remains undefeated against the Grrrowl 4-0-0.
Friday, January 20th Inferno 1 SOUTH CAROLINA 3
The South Carolina Stingrays ended Columbia's 7-game home winning streak as they win 3-1. South Carolina scored at 15:57 of the first period with a short-handed goal by Rich Peverley. Matt Ulwelling tied the game for the Inferno at 5:52 of the second period has he received the pass from Chanse Fitzpatrick and scored between Kirk Daubenspeck's legs. The Stingrays scored the next two goals at 10:07 and 11:05 by Jeremy Stevenson and Robin Gomez.
Saturday, January 21st INFERNO 6 Charlotte 3
Walker McDonald notched two goals to lead the Inferno past the first place Charlotte Checker 6-3. Greg Amadio scored his first game of the season at 4:46 of the first period with a slapshot from right below the blueline with help from Brad Ralph. Chanse Fitzpatrick gave the Inferno a 2-0 lead as he netted his 14th goal of the season at 16:49 as he scores on an easy wrist shot. D'Arcy McConvey and Sean Owens had the assists. Charlotte brought the game back to within one when Brian Escobedo scored on the power play at 1:40 of the second period. McDonald scored his first goal of the night as he pushed the puck between the legs of goaltender Kelly Guard. Steve Slaton tipped in a slapshot by Derek Eastman to earn his first goal of the season at 16:31.
The Checkers scored two goals in the third period but the Inferno matched it with goals by McDonald on the power play at 11:27 and an empty net goal at 19:56 by John Longo. Mike Minard earns his 14th win of the season as he stops 22 of 25 shots on goal.
