
Titans fall to Royals in snow-shortened weekend

TRENTON, NJ - The Trenton Titans' winless streak stretched to four games with an 8-5 defeat against the Reading Royals on Friday.
The Titans did not get the opportunity to exact revenge, as Saturday's match-up was cancelled due to inclement weather. The contest has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 15 at 7:05pm the Sovereign Center.
Trenton starts the weekend with a home-and-home series versus their intra-state rival, Atlantic City. The Titans travel to Boardwalk Hall on Friday, January 28 at 7:05pm and then host the Bullies on Saturday, January 29 at 7:00pm. Trenton finishes the weekend on the road against Wheeling on Sunday, January 30 at 5:05pm.
The Trenton Titans head into the All-Star Break in fifth place in the North Division, just two points behind the Toledo Storm.

Friday, January 21 @ Reading L 8-5 Sovereign Center
- The Trenton Titans allowed four power play goals en route to an 8-5 loss against the Reading Royals. Six different Royals scored as Reading converted three power goals in the second period to break open a 2-2 tie. Scott Bertoli recorded two goals, while Phil Lewandowski and Matt Zultek each added a tally and an assist. With starting goalies Chris Houle and Matt Yeats both pulled in the second period, Andrew Allen received the loss and Barry Brust notched the victory.
Saturday, January 22 @ Reading Postponed Sovereign Center
- Cancelled due to inclement weather, the meeting between the two teams has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 15 at 7:05 p.m. in the Sovereign Center.

- Game eight of ten for the Titans and Bullies during 2004-05. Scott Bertoli has registered 6 points (4g, 2a) and a +2 in six games against AC. Trenton leads the all-time series 19-14-3.
Sunday, January 30 @ Wheeling, 5:05pm 1350 AM Moneytalk WesBanco Arena
- Game four of eight against Wheeling. The Titans trail the season series 0-1-2 as the Nailers have clinched two overtime victories. Dany Sabourin is 3-0-0 versus Trenton this year with a 1.95 GAA. The Titans hold the edge in the all-time series 9-8-3.

The Trenton Titans will be hosting their third annual Titans Handprint Auction to benefit the Somerset Home for Temporarily Displaced Children. Fans will have the chance to bid on the handprints of their favorite Titans players during a silent auction to be held on the concourse of Sovereign Bank Arena. The players' handprints have been signed and mounted and include a picture taken of the player while creating the handprint. The handprints will be available for a starting bid of $15.
Come down to the Sovereign Bank Arena as the Titans help 3 Doors Down promote the arrival of their new album, Seventeen Days, featuring the single, Let Me Go. The first 2,000 fans will receive 3 Doors Down posters, while t-shirts and prizes will be given away during the game.
