Charlotte Checkers News Release
In partnership with Circle K, the Charlotte Checkers will give a free youth jersey to the first 2,000 kids 14 & under. The give-a-way has been one of the most anticipated items of the season.
Along with the free give-a-way for kids, there is something for the football enthusiasts. The Checkers are having their second annual "Pack the House-Super Bowl Party Give-a-way." The winner, who must be present to win, will receive a foursome of golf from LastMinuteGolfer.com, one free month of cable courtesy of Time Warner Cable, a wing party supplied by Wild Wing Cafe, a 24" Sony Vega TV courtesy of Circle K, and a complimentary keg of beer.
Charity Case Rocks the Checker - Immediately following the game, Charity Case will play for all fans in attendance. A portion of the game's ticket sales will be donated to Grin Kids.
Free tickets - The Charlotte Checkers will give you a free ticket to an upcoming game just by bringing in children's books. For each 5 books you bring in to the arena, Saturday, you will receive a free Terrace level seat for an up coming game. The books will be donated to Amay Jones Pre-K Center in Charlotte.
The Checkers will host their I-77 rival, Columbia Inferno on St. Lawrence Homes Home Ice at Charlotte Bobcats Arena. Doors will open at 5:30 for season ticket holders, 6:00 PM for general public and the puck drops at 7:00 PM. Be sure to get to the arena early for your FREE youth jersey.
