Condors Announce Front Office Promotions

Bakersfield, Calif.-The Bakersfield Condors Professional Hockey Club announced that they have promoted Shannon Armstrong, Dayna Cashion, Tim Statezni and Michael Lightfoot to new positions in the front office.

Shannon Armstrong, 24, was appointed as the Director of Promotions and Client Services for the Condors. Shannon is responsible for the development of all promotions and special events. Shannon also handles sponsor and season ticket holder benefit fulfillment and is the Condors liaison with Rabobank Arena. A graduate of James Madison University in Virginia, Shannon has been with the Condors organization since the spring of 2003.

Dayna Cashion, 23, was named as the new Ticket Administration and Client Services Manager. Dayna's new duties include managing the Condors computer systems, as well as ticket operations including group sales marketing and database development. A graduate of Liberty University in Virginia, Dayna hails from Victorville, CA, and began working with the Condors organization in May of 2005.

Tim Statezni, 23, was promoted to Account Manager as a new addition to the Condors full-time sales staff. A recent graduate of Long Beach State University and a Highland High School graduate, the Bakersfield native began working with the Condors as an inside sales representative and now primarily handles season ticket packages and group ticket sales.

Michael Lightfoot, 21, takes over as the new Merchandising Manager for the Condors. Michael began as a merchandise intern in October 2005 and is now responsible for merchandise operations including the daily operation of the Condors Team Store. Michael came to Bakersfield by way of Placentia, CA, and is currently seeking his Bachelor's degree in Economics with a minor in Sports Management from Cal State Bakersfield.

"We always want to promote from within whenever possible," said Condors President Matthew Riley. "These individuals have stepped up and asked for more responsibility and we're happy to provide it."

The Condors also announced today that Lisa Weaver, 18, is joining the front office staff as Operations Assistant Intern. Lisa began working for the Condors as a game day employee last season and is now responsible for assisting with accounts payable and receivable and the day-to-day operations of the front office.

The Bakersfield Condors will take on the San Diego Gulls tonight, February 3rd, as the ZOOperstars visit Condorstown sponsored by KGET-TV 17 and Rio Bravo Country Club. On Saturday, February 4th, the Condors take on the Las Vegas Wranglers on Playing Card Giveaway & Poker Night. The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a deck of Condors Playing Cards courtesy of 93.1 Pirate Radio and Carl's Jr.
