Fresno Falcons News Release

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons are teaming with the fire and police departments from the cities of Fresno and Clovis as well as American Ambulance to help raise money for the Fresno Fire Department's Burn Aware program. Five dollars from every fund-raising ticket sold to the Falcons' game on March 3 against the Dayton Bombers at Save Mart Center will be donated to Burn Aware, which educates elementary school children about such safety principles as "Stop, Drop, and Roll" and "Emergency 911".

In addition to the fund-raising efforts, the public safety agencies will display their fire trucks, police cars, and ambulances outside Save Mart Center before the game for children and fans of all ages to get a close-up, first-hand view. During the first intermission, the agencies will battle one another in a "Guns & Hoses" broom-ball game.
