
Comets 2019-20 Schedule Unveiled

Utica, N.Y. - The Utica Comets and the American Hockey League have announced the 2019-20 regular season schedule. The seventh season of Comets hockey begins with a pair of road games Saturday, October 5 at the Binghamton Devils and Saturday, October 12 at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Utica will open up the home portion of the schedule with a four-game homestand starting Wednesday, October 16 against archrival Syracuse.
Utica will feature a fun and family-friendly schedule with 18 Friday home games and 26 weekend games. Additionally, the Comets will play a 3 p.m. matinee at home on Veteran's Day and a 5 p.m. contest on New Year's Eve.
For a fourth consecutive season, the Utica Comets and Syracuse Crunch will battle 12 times to determine the Galaxy Cup winner, starting with the home opener on October 16. Utica will also square off with Binghamton, Laval, and Belleville eight times, Cleveland and Toronto four times, and Rochester 10 times.
Utica's longest road trip comes in late January to early February, a total of four games over a 12-day adventure in three cities. The longest homestand of the year is five games long, spanning eight days in mid-January.
The regular season will bookend with a contest on Saturday, April 11, 2020 on the road against the Syracuse Crunch.
Individual game tickets will go on sale Saturday, September 7 at 11 a.m. at the Adirondack Bank Center Box Office and noon online at www.empirestatetix.com. A full promotional schedule will be released later this summer.
