December 28, 2025 - Belleville, ON - The Comets visited CAA Arena in Belleville for the first time this season and were shut out by a score of 7-0. The game had a terrific pace from the opening faceoff with the Comets getting the majority of the scoring chances early on and applying pressure in the Belleville zone, which led to a tripping penalty on Senators forward Jamieson Rees. Comets Tie Game Late in 3rd, Fall 4-3 in Shootout

December 27, 2025 - Utica, NY - The Comets hosted the Toronto Marlies on Saturday and were edged 4-3 in a shootout. It was the first time these teams had seen each other since mid-October and it was the Marlies who struck early on a goal from Bo Groulx, 3:54 into the game as he picked up a loose puck in the right circle and beat Nico Daws inside the far post for his team-leading 13th goal of the season. Comets Outlast Penguins, Win 3-2 in Shootout

December 20, 2025 - Wilkes-Barre Township, PA - The Comets visited the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Saturday to conclude the season series and were victorious 3-2 in a shootout. The Penguins came out with a strong start, testing Jakub Malek early on, but the Comets' netminder was confident out of the gate. Criscuolo Strikes Twice, Comets Fall 4-2

December 19, 2025 - Utica, NY - The Comets hosted the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Friday and were edged 4-2. It was quite the start for the Comets as Jonathan Gruden and Kyle Criscuolo found themselves in on a 2-on-0 opportunity just 30 seconds into the game, but Penguins netminder Sergei Murashov came up with a big stop.
