
Casselman Scores 700th as Clones Go 2-1

Cincinnati Cyclones News Release
The Clones went 2-1 in Week Two of the ECHL season with wins over Toledo and Dayton and a loss to Roanoke. On Saturday vs. Dayton, Cyclones captain Mike Casselman assisted on a first period goal by Ryan Brindley. The assist was Casselman's 700th career point. In his career, Casselman has 249 goals and 451 goals for 700 points.
Game Recaps
Wednesday, October 22-Cyclones 3 vs. Toledo 2-shootout: Mark Concannon scored with 65 seconds left to tie the game for the Clones. In the shootout, Concannon and Brindley scored to give the Clones a shootout win. Terry Marchant scored his first goal of the season in the third period for the other regulation Clones goal.
Friday, October 24-Cyclones 2 vs. Roanoke 3: The Clones let a third period lead slip away as the Express struck three times in the games final period. The Clones scored two power-play goals in the contest (Brindley and Casselman).
Saturday, October 25-Cyclones 4 vs. Bombers 1: The Clones won their second straight meeting with the Bombers on the strength of four unanswered goals. After Dayton's Olivier Proulx opened the scoring, Brindley, Fraser Clair, Terry Marchant and Garrett Prosofsky scored four straight for the Clones. Brindley and Prosofsky scored on the power play. Marchant and Clair's goals came 39 seconds apart in the first period.
This Week
Friday, October 31-Cincinnati at Toledo
The Clones make their first trip of the year to the Toledo Sports Arena.
The Clones beat the Storm 3-2 in their first meeting of the season. The Storm returns leading scorer Nick Parillo. Through five games this season, Parillo has two goals and three assists for five points. Morten Ask also has five points (3g, 2a) in his first five games with the Storm. The Storm enter this week with a 3-1-1 record on the season.
Saturday, November 1-Cincinnati at Dayton
The Clones meet the Bombers for the third consecutive Saturday on November 1st. The Clones beat the Bombers 5-3 on opening night at the Nutter Center.
The Clones downed the Bombers 4-1 on Saturday at U.S. Bank Arena. Ryan Brindley has scored two of his three goals vs. the Bombers.
