Titans Rebound Against Long Beach Ice Dogs

The Trenton Titans (1-3) got their first win of the season Friday night against the Ice Dogs. Though leading 3-0 after two periods, the Titans found themselves knotted 3-3 at the end of regulation. After a scoreless overtime, Matt Zultek scored the game winner in the shootout to give the Titans the 4-3 win.

Vet Offensive:

After a quiet opening weekend offensively, the Titans veterans got back to their scoring ways. Dan Riva and Joe Rybar each tallied their first goal of the season, while Matt Zultek added one and Friday night's game winner in the overtime shootout.

'It's All Good With Allen': Goaltender Andrew Allen had his best performance of this young season and recorded his first win on Friday night. Allen made 31 of 34 saves and 3 of 4 stops during Friday's overtime shootout to seal the win for the Titans.

THIS WEEK:

Thursday, October 30 vs. Greensboro - 7:00pm Greensboro Coliseum

* The first of four meetings this year. The Generals are 3-1 and in third place in the Southern Division.

Friday, October 31 vs. Charlotte - 7:30pm Carolina Coliseum

* The Titans and the Checkers split their season series last year (3-3). The two teams play only twice this season.

Saturday, November 1 vs. Florence - 7:30pm Florence City-County CC

* The Titans are 4-2-1 against Florence all-time. This is the only meeting between the two teams this season.
