October 27, 2003 - ECHL (ECHL)
Fresno Falcons News Release
LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 1-2-0 OVERALL RECORD: 2-2-0
Oct. 24 @ Alaska â Goaltender Nolan Schaefer stopped 33 of 34 to win his second game in as many professional starts as the Falcons held off the Alaska Aces to win, 2-1. Jason Weaver and Greg Bullock tallied for Fresno.
Oct. 25 @ Alaska - Alaska avenged the previous evening's loss to Fresno with an emphatic 6-3 victory. Bullock, Kris Porter and Dominic Periard all lit the lamp in the losing effort.
Oct. 26 @ Alaska - In the rubber match of a three-game series, the Falcons were unable to overcome a third and final one-goal deficit in a 3-2 loss. Weaver and Porter each scored power play goals, but Fresno fell shy when Alaska's Mark Smith tallied a power play goal of his own for the game-winner with less than seven minutes to play.
THIS WEEK'S UPCOMING GAMES
