
Blades Claim First Place after Two Win Week

The Florida Everblades claimed sole possession of first place in their division after picking up two wins (4-2, 4-1) this past weekend against the Louisiana IceGators. Florida forward Brent McDonald currently leads the ECHL in scoring with 13 points (4 goals, 9 assists). McDonald's linemates Keith Anderson and Brian McCullough currently rank second and third in the ECHL with 12 and 11 points respectively. All regular season games can be heard on Sportsradio 770 AM and on the Internet at www.floridaeverblades.com, www.ABC-7.com and www.NBC-2.com with the "Voice of the Everblades" Dan Guenther calling the play-by-play. This Friday's game versus the Gwinnett Gladiators at TECO Arena will be an Internet only broadcast. The game can be also be heard inside the arena on 96.5 FM. 'The Gerry Fleming Coaches Show' presented by Stevie Tomato's Sportspage on Sportsradio 770 AM airs from 6:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday nights. The show will be live on remote at the Naples location tonight.
UPCOMING EVENTS/PROMOTIONS AT TECO ARENA: The Everblades battle the Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:30 PM on Friday, October 31st and Saturday, November 1st at TECO Arena. There will be a costume contest during Friday's game and trick or treat bags will be handed out as well. Good Charlotte is in concert at TECO Arena on Sunday, November 2nd. The Florida Everblades (3-1-0) defeated the Louisiana Ice Gators (2-1-0) 4-2 in front of a sold out crowd of 7,181 at TECO Arena on Friday night. Florida forward Brian McCullough notched two goals and Brent McDonald picked up a goal and two assists in the Florida win.
Saturday, October 25th vs. Louisiana 4-1 W
The Florida Everblades (4-1-0) defeated the Louisiana Ice Gators (2-2-0) 4-1 to earn the two game series sweep in front of a crowd of 6,042 at TECO Arena on Saturday night. Florida forwards Keith Anderson, Brian McCullough and Brent McDonald each notched one goal and two assists in the Florida win.

The Olds, Alberta native registered two goals and four assists and was +5 this past week and currently leads the ECHL in scoring with 13 points. McDonald earned the second star of the game in each of the Everblades two victories this past weekend.
