Dawgs Cruise by Bulls in Game Two, 4-3

April 19, 2019 - PELHAM, Ala. - Jacob Caffrey made 26 saves, Cam Bakker had three points and the Rail Yard Dawgs staved off elimination and beat the Birmingham Bulls, 4-1, in game two of the semifinals on Friday night at the Pelham Civic Complex. April 19, 2019 - HUNTSVILLE - At the end of the regular season, the Huntsville Havoc and Knoxville Ice Bears finished third and fourth in the SPHL standings. The clubs played like a pair of evenly matched teams Thursday night in the Rocket City, but Huntsville prevailed in overtime to beat the Ice Bears 3-2 and take game one of the SPHL semifinal best-of-three series. Birmingham's Parks and Hicks Win Season Awards

April 18, 2019 - HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) on Thursday announced that Jamey Hicks of the Birmingham Bulls was selected as the SPHL Coach of the Year in a vote of league coaches, general managers and media representatives. Hicks led the Bulls to a 39-15-2 record for a total of 81 points. This season marked the second year that the Bulls have been a team in the SPHL.
