Rivermen Lock Down ThunderBolts for 3-1 Victory

SPHL Peoria Rivermen February 23, 2024 - PEORIA, IL - The Rivermen defense locked down the Evansville Thunderbolts for just 12 shots on net over the course of three periods to secure a 3-1 triumph over Evansville on Friday night at Carver Arena. The Rivermen had the first power play of the game and found the back of the net first. Alec Hagaman had the puck with room at the top of the left-wing circle and fired a rising wrist shot that found the back of the net for his first goal since February 2 to put Peoria up 1-0. Dawgs Sign Daniel Barry, Place Stanko on IR

SPHL Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs February 23, 2024 - ROANOKE, Va. - The Rail Yard Dawgs announced on Friday that the team has signed rookie defenseman Daniel Barry to a standard player contract. Additionally, Roanoke has placed forward Brenden Stanko on the 14-day injured reserve, retroactive to February 20. Barry joins the Dawgs from Manhattanville College (NCAA-DIII), where he played for two seasons after transferring from Nichols College (NCAA-DIII). Marksmen Activate Bryan Moore from IR

SPHL Fayetteville Marksmen February 23, 2024 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Fayetteville Marksmen, proud members of the SPHL, are pleased to announce the activation of forward Bryan Moore from the IR. Moore, 29, played 35 games for the Marksmen across the last two seasons, and brings a wealth of professional hockey experience to the lineup. He was sidelined with injury on Opening Night 2024. SPHL Fayetteville Marksmen February 22, 2024 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Fayetteville Marksmen, proud members of the SPHL, have placed Justin Daly on 14-day IR and have released forward Jestin Somero.
