January 29, 2026 - PEORIA, IL - The Peoria Rivermen (26-8-1) are set to travel to Huntsville, AL take on the Huntsville Havoc (20-10-5) on Friday and Saturday (January 30 and 31) at Roto-Rooter Ice at Propst Arena. Face-off for both games is set for 7:00 pm central.

This matchup will feature a battle between the top two teams in the SPHL standings as the Rivermen rank first (53 points) and the Havoc rank second (45 points). This will be the first two of four overall meetings between Peoria and Huntsville this season.

January 29, 2026 - (MACON, Ga.) - The Macon Mayhem, proud members of the SPHL, announced Thursday that the team has dealt defenseman Jonathan Bartuccio-Pereira to Birmingham for future considerations.
The move opens up a roster spot for the Mayhem to sign defenseman Jordan Rosenbaum, who was claimed off of waivers from Roanoke earlier in the week.
Through 25 games this season in his second stint with Macon, Bartuccio-Pereira had seven points (4 g, 3 a).

January 29, 2026 - ROANOKE, VA. - The Rail Yard Dawgs announced on Thursday that the team has signed veteran forward Tyson Kirkby. Additionally, goaltender Gabe Rosek has returned to the team from his ECHL call-up with the Maine Mariners.
Kirkby is also in his fifth year professionally, and played three games for the Dawgs back in February 2024, notching two assists, seven penalty minutes, a fighting major, and a plus-two rating. The Evansville Thunderbolts come to the Pelham Civic Complex for games Friday and Saturday night. For Birmingham though, things have started to turn in a positive way against the defending Presidents Cup Champion. The Bulls have won the last three games against Evansville.
