April 20, 2026 - ROANOKE, VA. - The SPHL announced Monday that Roanoke captain Matt O'Dea and center Joe Widmar have been named to the league's All-SPHL First Team, while center Travis Broughman earned All-SPHL Second Team honors.
O'Dea is in his sixth season in Roanoke, serving as an alternate captain for the previous three campaigns before becoming the team's captain this year. Games Three and Four will take place in Knoxville at 7:30 pm ET (6:30 CT) on Thursday and Friday, April 23 and 24. If necessary, Game Five will be back in Peoria at Carver Arena on Sunday, April 26, at 3:15 pm. The Rivermen will practice at Carver Arena on Tuesday, April 21, from 10:30 am to 11:45 am. April 18, 2026 - Eric Olson scored early in the third period to put Knoxville ahead for good, Stephen Mundinger made 35 saves and the Knoxville Ice Bears held on to beat the Peoria Rivermen 3-1 at the Peoria Civic Center Saturday night and tie the President's Cup semifinal series at one game apiece.

Behind a pair of power-play goals and a late goaltending change, the Dawgs and Thunderbolts split the weekend in Roanoke.
