Michael McChesney Named Warrior Hockey/SPHL Player of the Week

November 11, 2025 - PEORIA, IL - The Peoria Rivermen are proud to announce, in conjunction with the SPHL, that forward Michael McChesney has been named this week's Warrior Hockey/SPHL Player of the Week. This is McChesney's first Player of the Week honor this year and the first for the Rivermen in the 2025-26 campaign as well. McChesney, 27, was instrumental in Peoria's weekend sweep of the Quad City Storm on Friday and Saturday night. Peoria's Michael McChesney Named Warrior Hockey SPHL Player of the Week

November 11, 2025 - HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The SPHL announced today that Michael McChesney of the Peoria Rivermen has been named Warrior Hockey SPHL Player of the Week for November 3-9. McChesney scored five goals, including his first SPHL hat trick, and added an assist to power the Rivermen to a home-and-home sweep of Quad City. On Friday, McChesney scored twice, including the eventual game-winning goal midway through the third period, as the Rivermen downed Quad City 4-1. Havoc Tame Bulls, Dominate in Shootout

November 9, 2025 - HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Huntsville Havoc outlasted the Birmingham Bulls on Sunday night, taking a late shootout win. The Bulls opened scoring at 4:24 with a power-play goal, capitalizing on an early advantage. The Havoc answered on a power play of their own just five minutes later when Cole Reginato, assisted by Ethan Lindsay and Connor Fries, swiped a puck under the opposing goalie's stick, pulling even at 1-1. Rivermen Conquer Storm, 7-2

November 8, 2025 - MOLINE, IL - Rivermen forward Michael McChesney led the way with a hat-trick performance at Vibrant Arena at the MARK on Saturday night as the Rivermen defeated Quad City 7-2 to complete a weekend sweep of the rival Storm. The Rivermen got on the board first off an odd-man rush as Alec Baer sent a quick pass over to Kylar Fenton on the right side.
