December 8, 2023 - FAYETTEVILLE, NC. - The Rail Yard Dawgs (7-5-3) overcame a two-goal deficit to force overtime, but were outlasted in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Fayetteville Marksmen (12-3-2) on Friday night at Ford Center. Brendan Pepe scored twice, while Alex DiCarlo opened the scoring for Roanoke.

December 6, 2023 - ROANOKE, Va. - The Rail Yard Dawgs announced on Wednesday that goalie Austyn Roudebush has been activated from the injured reserve, while goalie Tyler Roy has been placed on waivers.
Roudebush is in his fourth season in Roanoke, appearing in 95 games for the Dawgs since 2020 before being placed on the injured reserve back in mid-November. The six-foot-three netminder has a 45-27-13 record with a goals against average of 2.63 and five regular season shutouts, and is 3-0-1 with a .939 save clip and a 1.73 goals against aver... Kelly was buzzing around last Friday night in Roanoke's 3-2 win at Evansville, despite not being involved in any of the three goals scored by the Dawgs. That changed on Saturday, with Kelly netting each of Roanoke's goals in a 4-2 loss to the Thunderbolts.
