Müller Returns from ECHL, Lindberg Placed on Waivers

SPHL Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs January 14, 2026 - ROANOKE, VA. - The Rail Yard Dawgs announced on Wednesday that forward Gustav Müller has returned from his ECHL call-up with the Fort Wayne Komets, and the team has released defenseman Gehrig Lindberg to waivers to remain roster-compliant. Müller is in his second professional season in Roanoke, notching nine goals and 11 assists in 24 games played so far this year with the Dawgs before he was called up to Fort Wayne on New Year's Day. SPHL Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs January 14, 2026 - The Rail Yard Dawgs will be hosting their third annual Blue vs. White Exhibition Game on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 with puck drop scheduled for 10:35 A.M. at Berglund Center. Gates for the event will open at 9:00 A.M. The event will feature a "Blue vs. White" intersquad scrimmage with two periods of hockey followed by a skills competition. SPHL Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs January 12, 2026 - ROANOKE, VA. - The SPHL announced a five-game suspension on Monday to Roanoke defenseman Bryce Martin in response to an altercation at 6:34 of the third period of Roanoke's 5-2 loss to Macon on January 9, and for being a repeat offender.
