The six-foot-two forward heated up for the Dawgs in December, tallying four goals and three assists in the first seven games of the month. The Richmond native has reeled off 16 points in his past 13 games, and now ranks fifth in the SPHL for points with 20 on the season, as well as tied for first in the league with five power play goals.

December 22, 2025 - ROANOKE, VA. - The Rail Yard Dawgs announced on Monday that the team has placed defenseman Jagger Benson on waivers.
Benson debuted for the Dawgs this past weekend, registering three shots on goal and a minus-one rating in two appearances against Fayetteville and Birmingham. The 25-year-old had played four seasons of collegiate hockey at Plattsburgh State (NCAA-DIII), where he was a teammate of fellow Dawg Cory Doney. December 20, 2025 - ROANOKE, VA. - The Rail Yard Dawgs (12-8-3) nearly came up with a great comeback on Saturday night, but came up short against the Birmingham Bulls (5-11-5) in a 6-5 overtime loss on Teddy Bear Toss Night at Berglund Center.
