Kurapov's Home Run Swing Leads Ice Bears to Overtime Win

November 8, 2025 - Andrew Kurapov scored the overtime winning goal and the Knoxville Ice Bears defeated the Pensacola Ice Flyers 3-2 on UT Federal Credit Union Home Ice at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum Saturday. The Ice Bears have won three of their last four games. Pensacola had a four-game win streak snapped with the loss. November 7, 2025 - Nick Cafarelli scored his first career goal and Stephen Mundinger made 31 saves, but the Knoxville Ice Bears couldn't draw even in the third period as Knoxville fell 2-1 to the Pensacola Ice Flyers at the Civic Coliseum Friday. Tyler German opened the scoring for Pensacola when he stole the puck in the slot and lifted a wrist shot over Mundinger's blocker at 8:33 of the first. Leroux to IR; Gagnon Added Ahead of Home Weekend

November 7, 2025 - The Knoxville Ice Bears made a series of transactions ahead of a two-game weekend at home beginning Friday night at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum. Forward Paxton Leroux has been placed on the 14-Day IR and goalie Christian Propp has been loaned to the Greensboro Gargoyles in the ECHL. In addition, forward Alex Gagnon has been activated off the team's reserve list and Phil Krawec has signed as an emergency backup goaltender.
