May 22, 2026 - PENSACOLA, FLA. - The Pensacola Ice Flyers have officially submitted their protected list for the upcoming 2026-27 SPHL season, securing the rights to a strong core of returning talent as preparations begin for another year in the Hangar. Sam Rhodes Named SPHL Co-Rookie of the Year

April 24, 2026 - HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The SPHL on Friday announced that Sam Rhodes of the Pensacola Ice Flyers and Khaden Henry of the Macon Mayhem have been selected as the SPHL Co-Rookies of the Year in a vote of team coaches and staff. Rhodes led all rookies in points (38) and power play goals (six - tied), while ranking second in goals (24) and third in power play points (10). Cooper Jones Named to All-SPHL Second Team

April 20, 2026 - PENSACOLA, FLA. - Pensacola Ice Flyers defenseman Cooper Jones has been named to the All-SPHL Second Team following a standout 2025-26 season. Jones appeared in 48 games for Pensacola, recording 9 goals and 21 assists for 30 points. He ranked 3rd among all SPHL defensemen in scoring and was a key contributor on both ends of the ice throughout the year. Rhodes Named to SPHL All-Rookie Team

April 17, 2026 - PENSACOLA, FLA. - Pensacola Ice Flyers forward Sam Rhodes has been named to the SPHL All-Rookie Team following a strong debut season. Rhodes skated in all 58 games for Pensacola, recording 24 goals and 14 assists for 38 points. He led Ice Flyers rookies in scoring and made an immediate impact offensively, adding 6 power-play goals and 2 game-winning goals.
