Mud Monsters Drop Suspended Game, Win Night Game

August 20, 2025 - Pearl, MS - The Mud Monsters had two games to play today as they were continuing a game that was suspended back on July 20th. They fell in the first game 12-4 but were able to bounce back in the regularly scheduled game to win 10-6. The offense burst out for six runs in the first inning of the second game to propel Mississippi to the win. The suspended game, started in the top of the fifth with Victor Diaz at the plate. August 20, 2025 - The Oklahoma City Comets hit four home runs, including two by Ryan Ward, and tallied 19 hits during a 12-8 victory over the Tacoma Rainiers Tuesday night at Cheney Stadium. Ward gave the Comets (26-20/72-49) a 1-0 lead in the first inning with a RBI single, and Kody Hoese hit a two-run double in the second inning to make it 3-0.
