Wylie Secures Second Straight 20-20 Season

August 23, 2025 - GASTONIA, N.C. - Justin Wylie hit his 20th homer of the season on Friday night, becoming the fourth ALPB player this year to join the 20-home run, 20-stolen base club. Wylie entered Friday with 20 steals on the season, and he crushed an opposite-field two-run homer in the first inning against Lancaster. Wylie joined the "20-20 club" for a second consecutive season with Gastonia, going 30-20 in 2024. Pirates Outfielder Oneil Cruz Returns to Curve, PA on Rehab

August 23, 2025 - CURVE, PA - The Pittsburgh Pirates announced today that outfielder Oneil Cruz is scheduled to begin a Major League Rehab assignment with the Curve beginning on Saturday, August 23rd when the Curve host the Reading Fightin Phils at 6:00 p.m. Cruz, who was placed on the 7-Day Concussion injured list on August 13, is batting .207 with 17 2B, 2 3B, 18 HR, 41 RBI and career-best 34 stolen bases in 108 games with the Pirates this season.
