The Skinny: Florida handled the Stingrays 3-1 on Sunday with Craig Kowalski making 40 saves on 41 shots by the Stingrays. The Rays have a record of 0-1-1 against Florida this season.

At the Rink: Two for Tuesday! Two for one hot dogs and tickets and two dollar beers.

The Skinny: Greenville is in first place in the South division with a record of 9-5-0. Greenville is 4-5 at home this season, the Stingrays are 2-5-2 on the road.

The Skinny: Greenville has a record of 5-0 on the road this season and a mark of 1-0 against the Stingrays at the Coliseum.

Fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed toy to the game on Saturday night, December 3rd, when the Stingrays take on the Greenville Grrrowl. After the Rays score their first goal, fans may throw the stuffed toy onto the ice!

Stingrays Snap Streak

Fans Enjoy Wild Game With Gwinnett!

The Stingrays finally snapped a ten game winless streak with wins against Gwinnett and Columbia. The Stingrays will play three out of their next four games at home. South Carolina seven home games in December.

The Rays traded veteran forward Joel Irving to Bakersfield for goaltender Davis Parley early in the week. On Wednesday, they lost the services of goaltender Mike Brown as he was reassigned. Defenseman JF David was recalled to Hershey on Saturday and will finish the season in Germany.

Wednesday, November 23rd

Stingrays 2 Vs Charlotte 5

Nathan Gillies scored the final two goals of the game and Charlotte netted a pair of power play goals in the win. The loss meant the tenth game for the Stingrays without a win.

Friday, November 25th

Stingrays 8 Vs Gwinnett 7

Matt Reid scored two goals including the game winner as the Stingrays topped the Gwinnett Gladiators 8-7 in a wild game in front of 4,998 at the North Charleston Coliseum. Reid broke a 7-7 tie with six seconds remaining when he wristed the puck past Gladiators netminder Sean Fields with six seconds remaining in the game.

Saturday, November 26th

Stingrays 5 @ Columbia 0

The Rays played a near flawless game in Columbia and beat the Inferno by the score of 5-0. The Rays played well in all facets of the game scoring two power play goals, getting a 21 save shut out from Maxime Daigneault and holding the Inferno off the board on six power play opportunities.

Sunday, November 27th

Stingrays 1 Vs Florida 3

Craig Kowalski made 40 saves and Dan Sisca had a goal and two assists as the Florida Everblades beat the Stingrays 3-1 in front of 3,671 at the North Charleston Coliseum. The loss snapped a two game winning streak for the Stingrays and dropped them to 4-9-5 on the season. Florida won its second straight and improved to 9-5 on the year.

Saturday, December 10th Is Ladies Night Out!

All female Stingray fans are encouraged to attend the upcoming Ladies Night Out - "Hockey and Heels" - promotion on Saturday December 10. This unique promotion includes a Hockey 101 class conducted by one of the coaches, a Mini Spa Makeover Session, and food and beverage. The event begins at 4:30 pm at the North Charleston Coliseum in the season ticket holder lounge and will conclude around 6:30 pm.

Registered ladies will receive the following: a 30 minute crash course on the rules of the game, hockey gear, and the basic strategies of the game. The event then moves to the Mini Spa Makeover session where area day spas and salons will be set up to provide mini makeover services such as massages and mini facials as well as hair consultations and more. Every registered participant will be eligible to win door prizes donated from the various businesses.
