PROMOTIONS

Friday, December 2nd - INFERNO VS. AUGUSTA LYNX - Teddy Bear Toss - The 4th annual Teddy Bear Toss will be held December 2 as Columbia Inferno takes on the Augusta Lynx. Remember to bring a new teddy bear to throw after the Inferno's first goal. The players of both teams and volunteers will help collect the bears what will then be given to emergency personnel to comfort children who need help in a traumatic situation.

Friday, December 9th - INFERNO VS. WHEELING NAILERS - Toys for Tots - Bring an unwrapped toy to donate to the United States Marine Corp for their Toys for Tots Drive.

Saturday, December 10th - INFERNO VS. GWINNETT GLADIATORS - The Stanley Cup will be on the concourse and you will have the opportunity to have your picture taken with it. In no other professional sport is a trophy as synonymous with excellence and tradition, teamwork and sacrifice as is the Stanley Cup in the National Hockey League. The 111-year-old trophy honors those who compete and succeed at the highest level, and serves to mystify and intrigue both life-long hockey fans and new converts to the game with its etched chronicle of achievement and history.

Tuesday, November 29th Inferno vs. Pensacola Ice Pilots 7:05pm Carolina Coliseum

The Inferno is 2-1-1 this season and 4-3-2 all-time against the Ice Pilots. This is the fifth of nine meetings between these two teams. Pensacola is in last place in the South Division with 11 points (5-8-1).

Friday, December 2nd Inferno vs. Augusta Lynx 7:05pm Carolina Coliseum

Saturday, December 3rd Inferno @ Augusta Lynx 7:05pm Richmond Civic Ctr.

This is the fourth and fifth of nine games between the Inferno and Lynx. The Inferno is 1-1-1 this season and 16-11-6 all-time. Augusta is in fifth place in the South Division with 16 points (7-5-2).

LAST WEEK

Wednesday, November 23rd Inferno 0 FLORIDA 3

The Florida Everblades shut down the Inferno 3-0. John Ronan scored two goals and Ernie Hartlieb scored the third goal for the Everblades. Florida outshot the Inferno 42-34.

Friday, November 25th Inferno 3 PENSACOLA 4 (OT)

The Columbia Inferno lost in overtime 4-3 against the Pensacola Ice Pilots but gained a point in the South Division standings as they improved their record to 8-5-2. Dominic Noel scored for the Ice Pilots at 2:32 of the first period to get on the board first. Brandon Nolan scored his first goal of the night at 18:14 with Chanse Fitzpatrick and Travis Lisabeth on the assists. John Longo gave the Inferno a one-goal lead as he scored his second goal of the season at 5:52 of the second period. Nolan added his second goal of the night at 11:14 with help from Fitzpatrick and Cava. Pensacola scored two quick goals in the third period to tie the game at three and push it to overtime. Chris Heid scored the game-winning goal in overtime at 1:51 as Pensacola improves their record to 4-7-1.

Saturday, November 26th Inferno 0 SOUTH CAROLINA 5

The Inferno was shutout for a second time this week as the South Carolina Stingrays win 5-0. The Stingrays outshot the Inferno 33-21 and stopped six power play opportunities for Columbia.
