Last Weeks Highlights:

11/22/05 > Long Beach 3 @ Bakersfield 2 (OT)

In a rare morning game, the Ice Dogs prevailed over the Bakersfield Condors 3-2 in overtime, avenging a loss just three days earlier to the Condors. Cory Urquhart and Mac Faulkner got the goals for Long Beach in regulation before Christian Larrivee scored just 35 seconds into overtime to give the Ice Dogs two points. Greg Hewitt got the win with 37 saves but the Ice Dogs went 0-3 on the power play despite stopping all five of Bakersfield's chances.

11/25/05 > Long Beach 2 @ San Diego 4

Going for two in a row against division foe San Diego, the Ice Dogs came up short Friday night falling 4-2. Long Beach never had the lead but had both its goals scored unassisted by Ash Goldie in the first and third period. Olivier Michaud took his first regulation loss of the season with Long Beach, making 23 saves. The Ice Dogs went 0-6 on the power play while the Gulls were 2-3.

11/26/05 > Long Beach 4 @ Phoenix 2

The Ice Dogs got back in the win column Saturday night, defeating the Phoenix Roadrunners for the third time this season. Long Beach jumped out to a commanding 3-0 lead in the second period, with goals by Christian Larrivee, Kevin Ulanski, and Ash Goldie. Phoenix brought it to 3-2 in the third before Cory Urquhart sealed the win in the final two minutes of regulation. Greg Hewitt was credited with the win making 15 saves. The Ice Dogs were 1-5 on the power play and stopped 3-4 Phoenix chances.

11/27/05 > Long Beach 6 vs. Victoria 3

The Ice Dogs continued their dominance over Victoria Sunday night, remaining a perfect 11-0 all-time in a 6-3 win. Kevin Ulanski had three points (2 goals, 1 assist) while Mike Woodford, Chris Kenady, and Christian Larrivee also scored for the highest offensive output by Long Beach this season. The win put them in sole possession of second place in the Pacific Division. Greg Hewitt was credited with the win to improve to 3-0 on the week. Long Beach was 1-5 on the power play while stopping all five of Victoria's man advantages.

12/2/05 > Long Beach vs. Alaska

The Ice Dogs and Aces will play for the first time this season Friday night, and the first time since Alaska eliminated Long Beach in the second round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs last April. The Ice Dogs were 3-2-2 versus Alaska last season but were swept in the playoffs.

12/3/05 > Long Beach vs. Alaska

The Ice Dogs and Aces will play their second of a two game series Saturday night in Long Beach.

12/4/05 > Long Beach vs. Phoenix

The Phoenix Roadrunners will be making their first trip to Long Beach this season on Sunday night. The Ice Dogs are 3-0-0 so far against the Roadrunners.
