Snow Forecast For Sound Tigers

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced veteran goaltender Garth Snow is scheduled to join the team for Saturday's 7:05 p.m. home game versus the Providence Bruins. Snow, a veteran of well over 300 NHL games, has missed the Islanders' last 13 contests while on the injured reserve with knee problems.

Snow was chosen by the Quebec Nordiques in the sixth round, 114th overall, of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. He signed as an unrestricted free agent with the Islanders on July 1, 2001.
