NORFOLK, VA - Today, the Norfolk Admirals announced that they have signed defenseman Danny Eberly to a professional tryout (PTO).
Eberly, 25, has appeared in 35 games this season with the Gwinnett Gladiators (ECHL), recording seven goals and 14 assists for 21 points with 22 penalty minutes and a plus-15 rating.
Originally selected by the New York Rangers in the eighth round (238th overall) of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, the 6'0", 190 lbs. defenseman made his AHL debut with Worcester in 2003-04, scoring a goal in his first AHL game.
