Peoria Rivermen News Release

Some super Peoria Rivermen action is in store this weekend LIVE online through the b2 networks before Super Bowl XL on Sunday! Watch on Friday evening as the Rivermen take on the Toronto Marlies for the last time this season at the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto beginning at 5:50 p.m. (CST). Then over lunch on Saturday, watch the Rivermen square off with the Cleveland Barons on National City Rink at Quicken Loans Arena beginning at 11:50 a.m. (CST). The fee to view each game is only $6.00 (US), and the LIVE streaming video Webcasts can be accessed by clicking on the large, white b2 networks icon in the right column of the home page of rivermen.net, the official Website of the Peoria Rivermen Hockey Club.

These Webcasts are the product of a new partnership for the 2005-06 season between the American Hockey League (AHL) and b2 networks. Through the facilities and technology of b2 networks, every fan with a computer, Microsoft Windows Media Player 9 or higher version software, and a high-speed Internet connection (DSL, T1, or cable modem) can watch all Rivermen games, both home and away, during the 2005-06 AHL season.

Although nothing can quite equal the excitement, fun, and intensity of attending a Rivermen game in person, the b2 networks' Webcasts of Rivermen games bring fans closer to the live in-arena experience than any other medium can. Whether fans are unable to attend a Rivermen home game or want to keep up with the Rivermen while they are on the road, b2 networks Webcasts provide a convenient means of viewing all of the exciting action on a computer!
