
Bears Return from Break, Face Phantoms Tonight

2/3/2006 10:29:00 AM - Following the AHL's three-day all-star break, HERSHEY returns to action tonight against the Philadelphia Phantoms in a game at the Wachovia Spectrum. The game is the first half of a home-and-home series.
The BEARS have seen several roster moves since playing the club's last game on Sunday against Norfolk. Forwards Mike Kompon and Cam McCaffery have been returned to the ECHL, forward Colin Forbes has been assigned to HERSHEY from Washington, and forward Eric Fehr and defenseman Mike Green were both recalled today to the Capitals in time for Washington's game tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
HERSHEY has 31 games remaining entering play tonight, and stands in second place in the AHL's East Division with 65 points. The BEARS trail first place Wilkes-Barre/Scranton by eight points while leading third place Norfolk and Bridgeport by 14 points entering play tonight.
Tonight's game is the beginning of a home-and-home series with Philadelphia. The Phantoms will visit GIANT Center Saturday night with a large crowd expected. Tickets still remain as of 10 a.m. Friday for the game at the GIANT Center box office, or by calling (717) 508-BEAR.
