DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Stars Director of Hockey Operations Scott White announced today that the Dallas Stars have recalled Iowa Captain Dan Jancevski (jan-SEHV-skee) from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Iowa Stars. The recall is under emergency conditions.

Selected as the first Captain in Iowa Stars history, Jancevski has recorded four goals, 13 assists and is second on the team with a ‘plus 7' rating through 45 games: 45(4/13/17)+7. The fifth-year professional, along with forward Toby Petersen, are the only two players to appear in every Stars game to date. The 6-3, 212-pound blueliner was drafted by the Dallas Stars with their second choice, 66th overall, in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. At the time of his recall, he had a three-game point-streak: 3(1/2/3).

NEXT GAME: Iowa travels to Winnipeg, Manitoba for a two-game set with the Manitoba Moose tonight and Saturday the 5th. Game time from ‘The Peg' is 7:30 PM for both games.
