Final Bacon Bits To Debut On Mystateline.com Saturday

Rockford, Ill.- WTVO channel 17 will publish the final 2008-09 episode of Bacon Bits on mystateline.com on Saturday.
The magazine style show about Rockford IceHogs hockey is hosted by WTVO-TV Sport Director Scott Leber and Weekend Sports Anchor Adam Werner.
This month's show will feature a season recap with highlights of the 2008-09 campaign, a story on forward Adam Pineault's post-hockey plans to become a firefighter and an item on the Stanley Cup's first visit to the Rockford MetroCentre.
The show will look at the recent Hammy's Hog Wild Wedding on the ice on Saturday and a "player spelling bee" with IceHogs fans.
Second-year winger Rob Klinkhammer with get Hog Tied and Fan Spotlight segments will return as always. Bacon Bits will be featured on www.mystateline.com for a week.
Next Home Game: Friday, April 10 vs. Peoria Rivermen. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. Rockford faces off against Peoria in the clubs' 2008-09 regular season home finale. The first 1,000 fans to the game will pick up a Patrick Kane Bobblehead doll and the first 2,500 fans will receive an IceHogs Team Photo courtesy of Johnson Press. All fans can enter to win an IceHogs game worn jersey as the team will give away an entire set during Fan Appreciation Night. Also, the IceHogs will present their 2008-09 Team Awards prior to the game.
