
Marlies Clinch Playoff Spot and Announce Dates For Round 1

Toronto Marlies News Release
A proud member of the American Hockey League, the Toronto Marlies today announced the schedule for their North Division Semifinal series against the Manitoba Moose, AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks. The Marlies clinched a playoff berth with their 4-3 overtime win over the Manitoba Moose tonight.
The following are the confirmed dates, along with locations, and times for the first-round series between the Marlies and Moose (all times eastern):
Game 1 - Wednesday, April 15: Toronto Marlies at Manitoba Moose 8:30 p.m. (MTS Centre)
Game 2 - Friday, April 17: Toronto Marlies at Manitoba Moose 8:30 p.m. (MTS Centre)
Game 3 - Sunday, April 19: Manitoba Moose at Toronto Marlies 4:00 p.m. (Ricoh Coliseum)
Game 4 - Tuesday, April 21: Manitoba Moose at Toronto Marlies 7:00 p.m. (Ricoh Coliseum)
*Game 5 - Thursday, April 23: Manitoba Moose at Toronto Marlies 7:00 p.m. (Ricoh Coliseum)

Individual game tickets for the Marlies first round of the 2008-09 Calder Cup Playoffs are currently on-sale through torontomarlies.com, ticketmaster.ca or by calling 416-597-PUCK. The Marlies 2008-09 playoff tickets for Round 1 will start at just $10. First round playoff tickets will not be increased from the regular season prices.
The Marlies begin their quest for the Calder Cup on Wednesday night in Manitoba. Fans can listen to all Toronto Marlies playoff action on THE FAN 590 or fan590.com.
