MOLINE, IL. - A local group comprised of representatives from The Quad City Convention & Visitors Bureau/Sports Commission, the i wireless Center, Beacon Sports Properties, QC Sports Ventures and local hockey fans are teaming up in an effort to keep Professional Hockey in the Quad Cities .

There will be an additional Town Hall Meeting taking place at 6:30pm in the conference center of the i wireless Center prior to Friday night's Flames game.

Through the Quad City Mallards and the Quad City Flames, the Quad Cities have become synonymous with hockey excellence and success. Having these two franchises in our community has improved our quality of life and has brought family and friends together through affordable entertainment. Additionally, these hockey organizations have been great community partners who have infused millions of dollars into the local economy and have helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for charities in the Quad Cities community.

Hockey is a way of life in the Quad Cities and we want professional hockey to continue for future generations of families here. Please join us in our efforts to keep hockey in the Quad Cities! For additional information and to show your support, please visit www.supportQChockey.com.
