Lafranchise Assigned to Alaska

Abbotsford Heat News Release
Abbotsford, BC - The Abbotsford Heat announced today that they have assigned defenceman Kane Lafranchise to the Alaska Aces, the Heat's developmental affiliate in the ECHL. He will join the Aces in their second round playoff series against the Idaho Steelheads.
Lafranchise, a native of Edmonton, Alberta, played in 34 games with the Heat during the regular season and recorded 13 points (0-13-13) and two penalty minutes. He appeared in all four playoff games against Grand Rapids and recorded his first career AHL goal on May 2nd, 2014.
