
Wilson Returns To Finish Season With Wolves

The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned defenseman CLAY WILSON to the Chicago Wolves.
WILSON was held scoreless in two outings with the Thrashers this week, after being recalled on April 6. Overall, the 26-year-old blueliner collected one assist in seven National Hockey League matchups this season, which includes five with the Columbus Blue Jackets, before being acquired by Atlanta in a trade on Jan. 14.
The Sturgeon Lake, Minn., native has also skated in 68 American Hockey League outings this year, racking up 44 points, which ranks third on the Wolves and shares seventh among AHL blueliners. He shares first on Chicago with 31 assists, while his 13 goals are tied for sixth on the squad and third among league defensemen.
WILSON will join the Wolves for their final road game at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee tonight at 7 p.m. and the team's season finale at the Allstate Arena on Saturday when they take on the Rockford IceHogs at 7 p.m.
