The Iowa Stars today announced that they have listed three jerseys that are up for auction from the 2005-2006 season on iowastarshockey.com.

Hockey fans worldwide will be able to place bids on the jerseys worn by Stars players on opening night of the Iowa Stars Inaugural Season by visiting iowastarshockey.com and clicking the jersey auction logo on the right side of the Iowa Stars main page. Each jersey will be listed for 10 days and begins today.

Game Worn Jerseys that are up for auction include the Inaugural Season opening night jerseys of defenseman Jason Platt, defenseman Patrick Traverse, and left wing Francis Wathier.

Platt Home

Up for auction by the Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League is a Jason Platt Iowa Stars GAME WORN OPENING NIGHT WHITE HOME Jersey #22, size Pro56. Platt was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers with their 9th choice, eighth round, 247th overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. Jason was born in San Francisco, California. Prior to playing his collegiate hockey at Providence College (Hockey East) in Rhode Island, Platt was a member of the Omaha Lancers (USHL) from 1998-2000. This Jersey, made by Reebok Hockey, shows a few small scuff marks on the front left sleeve. The front of the jersey also has a few scuff marks. The second "2" on the back of the jersey has small burn marks located on the top. On the top right front is a square KPWB 23 Logo patch. On the top left front is the Iowa Stars Inaugural Season patch. The shoulder patches feature the Dallas Stars Logo and the State Logo. The back of the jersey has several patches. Top center above the nameplate: Reebok logo. On the bottom right of the jersey: Reebok logo patch and an AHL secondary logo. All patches are sewn on and the jersey will come with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Iowa Stars.

Up for auction by the Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League is a Patrick Traverse Iowa Stars GAME WORN OPENING NIGHT WHITE HOME Jersey #27, size Pro56. Traverse was drafted by the Ottawa Senators with their 3rd choice, third round, 50th overall in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut on 12/30/95 vs. Montreal. A 12-year veteran, Patrick has appeared in NHL games for the Ottawa Senators, Anaheim Mighty Ducks, Boston Bruins, and Montreal Canadiens. His NHL totals reflect 278 games, 65 points, and 113 penalty minutes: 278(14/51/65)113. He had four assists in Iowa's first-ever win on Oct. 16th. Up for auction by the Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League is a Francis Wathier Iowa Stars GAME WORN OPENING NIGHT WHITE HOME Jersey #58, size Pro56. Wathier was drafted by the Dallas Stars with their 8th choice, sixth round, 185th overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-3, 198-pound left winger was a member of the President's Cup Championship team with the Gatineau Olympiques of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) in 2002-03 and 2003-04.
