Bears Acquire Doull from Rampage

HERSHEY - The HERSHEY BEARS announced today in conjunction with the NHL's Washington Capitals that the club has acquired left wing Doug Doull from the San Antonio Rampage in exchange for defenseman Dwayne Zinger. The announcement was made today by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.

Doull scored 15 goals and accumulated 257 penalty minutes in 2002-03 for the St. John's Maple Leafs, and also piled up 232 PIM in 2004-05 for the AHL's Utah Grizzlies. Doull arrives in Chocolatetown with 84 penalty minutes this season in just 26 games played. He will wear uniform number 25 for HERSHEY, and is expected to make his debut in a BEARS sweater this evening in Philadelphia.

Zinger departs for San Antonio without a point this season and 74 penalty minutes in 30 games played.

The BEARS travel to Philadelphia tonight before hosting the Phantoms Saturday night at GIANT Center. Tickets are available at the GIANT Center box office, or by calling (717) 508-BEAR. Airtime Friday night on the BEARS radio network from south Philadelphia is at 6:45 p.m.
