PEORIA, Ill. - The Peoria Rivermen are proud to announce the hiring of Sophia Gresham as the organization's new Director of Creative Services, where she will lead the club's creative vision and oversee all aspects of social media, graphic design, video production, photography, and digital content heading into the 2026-27 season.

Gresham joins the Rivermen after serving as Marketing Manager at Pearce Community Center, where she oversaw branding, digital marketing, website management, content creation, photography, videography, and event promotion. Her experience combines creative design with strategic marketing, giving her a unique ability to build brands, create engaging digital experiences, and tell stories that connect with audiences.

A graduate from Illinois State University she has a background in Digital Media Design, Gresham has developed expertise across graphic design, web design, multimedia production, and digital marketing.

Her passion for blending creativity with strategy has allowed her to bring projects to life from concept to completion while producing memorable and impactful content.

As Director of Creative Services, Gresham will oversee the Rivermen's visual identity across all platforms while leading the organization's social media strategy, creative campaigns, photography, videography, graphic design, and digital storytelling. Her focus will be on delivering engaging content that showcases the excitement of Rivermen hockey while strengthening relationships with fans, sponsors, and the Central Illinois community.

"I'm incredibly excited to join the Peoria Rivermen organization," said Gresham. "The Rivermen have such a rich tradition and one of the most passionate fan bases in professional hockey. I'm looking forward to bringing new creative ideas to the organization, telling the stories that make this team special, and creating content that gives fans an even closer connection to the players, the game, and the Rivermen experience."
