
Rampage Trade Grant Potulny To Norfolk

SAN ANTONIO (November 26, 2008) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that the Rampage have traded center Grant Potulny to the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League in exchange for future considerations.
A native of Grand Forks, ND, Potulny recorded one assist in seven games with the Rampage. He signed an AHL contract with the Rampage on November 7. Prior to joining the Rampage, Potulny tallied one goal in seven games with the Duisburg Foxes of the German Elite League.
The 28-year-old split last season between the Hershey Bears (AHL) and the Springfield Falcons (AHL) totaling 28 goals and 18 assists in 75 games. Potulny enters his sixth season in the AHL and spent four seasons (2003-07) with the Binghamton Senators (AHL) where he totaled 37 goals and 39 assists in 178 games.
Potulny played four years of collegiate hockey at the University of Michigan recording 116 points (68 goals, 48 assists) in 146 career NCAA games. He was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the fifth round (157th overall) of the 2000 National Hockey League Entry Draft.
