
Chris Porter is Back with Peoria

Peoria, Ill. (November 26, 2008) - St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has assigned forward Chris Porter to their Blues' American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
Porter, 24, has skated in six games for the Blues this season, collecting two points (one goal, one assist).
The 6-2, 201-pound forward has played in 13 games for the Rivermen this season, notching four points (one goal, three assists) along with 21 penalty minutes. The Toronto, Ontario native was originally the Chicago Blackhawks ninth round selection, 282nd overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
The Rivermen take on the Admirals tonight at 7:00 p.m. from the Bradley Center. The game will be broadcast on Hippie Radio 101.1 FM as well as online through www.rivermen.net.
The IceHogs will be at Carver Arena to take on the Rivermen at 7:00p.m. on Friday. Jennette McCurdy, who plays Sam on Nickelodeon's iCarly, will be signing autographs and meeting with fans beginning at 6:30p.m.
