Manchester Monarchs News Release

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, will be hosting Thanksgiveaway on Friday, November 28 when the team hosts the Portland Pirates at 7:30 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena. The Monarchs are giving thanks to their fans in the form of cash.

The first 2,000 fans will receive envelopes filled with cash, Monarchs bucks or the opportunity to go on the ice during the first intermission to Dash for Cash, courtesy of TD Banknorth. The envelopes containing cash will range from $2 to $20. Fans that receive Monarchs Bucks at the door can visit the Monarchs Pro Shop or merchandise kiosks for Monarchs gear. Those select fans that receive an opportunity to Dash for Cash will be on the ice during the first intermission as $1,000 are dropped from the rafters. Fans will have to dart around the ice to collect as much money as they can. The more cash they pick up, the more cash they take home.
