Worcester Sharks News Release
WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced today that the Sharks and Aubuchon Hardware will host a Blood Drive on Saturday, November 29 from 10:00AM to 4:00PM inside the Convention Center lobby of the DCU Center in Worcester. The American Red Cross is graciously making arrangements to supply all staffing and equipment needs for this non-profit community event and the Worcester Sharks and Aubuchon Hardware are providing incentives including game tickets and a t-shirt to each presenting donor.
"The fall months are very difficult for blood collections," Adam Edelstein from American Red Cross Blood Services stated. "We are grateful to have generous blood drive sponsors such as The Worcester Sharks and Aubuchon Hardware.
Michael Lehr, Worcester Sharks President and CEO, stated, "The Worcester Sharks are excited to host this Blood Drive along with Aubuchon Hardware." Lehr continued, "Each donor will have the opportunity to come out and enjoy Worcester Sharks hockey including the two games this weekend at home."
Each presenting donor will receive a pair of tickets to a 2008-09 Worcester Sharks Home Game and a t-shirt. Free Curbside Parking outside the Convention Center on Major Taylor Boulevard will be provided for all donors.
To ensure an even donor flow and less time waiting, donors are encouraged to call the American Red Cross at 1-800-GIVE-LIFE (800) 448-3543 to schedule an appointment to donate.
