
P-Bruins Fall to Devils 3-0

Lowell, MA - The Providence Bruins fell to the Lowell Devils 3-0 Wednesday evening at the Tsongas Arena. The P-Bruins are back at home at the Dunkin' Donuts Center Friday versus the Worcester Sharks at 7:05 p.m. for Kid's Hat Night.
After a scoreless opening period, the Devils took a 1-0 lead at the 6:00 mark of the second period. Chad Wiseman tallied his third goal of the season, with Nicklas Bergfors getting the lone assist. Lowell took a 2-0 advantage, while on the power play at the 9:46 mark. Alexander Vasyunov netted his fifth goal of the season, while Tyler Eckford and Jeff Frazee picked up the assists. Lowell went into the second intermission leading 2-0.
In the third period, the Devils added a goal at the 15:39 mark. Brad Mills scored his first goal of the season, while Matthew Corrente had the lone assist. The Devils went on to the 3-0 victory.
Kevin Regan stopped 14 of 17 shots for the P-Bruins, while Frazee made 40 saves for the Devils earning the shutout. Â The P-Bruins were 0-for-4 on the power play and 4-for-5 on the penalty kill.
The P-Bruins return home to The Dunk Friday against the Sharks at 7:05 p.m. for Kid's Hat Night for the first 1,000 kid's 12 and under. The P-Bruins are also home Sunday against the Wolf Pack for a Family Game. Get one ticket, hot dog and soda for one low price.
