Prosofsky Named InGlasCo ECHL Player of the Week

Cincinnati, OH-The ECHL announced on Tuesday afternoon that Garrett Prosofsky has been named InGlasCo ECHL Player of the Week. Prosofsky recorded eight points (four goals and four assists) in three games last week in Alaska.

Prosofsky had a pair of goals, including a shorthanded marker, and a pair of assists in the Cyclones' 6-3 win over Alaska on Wednesday. On Friday, Prosofsky had two goals, including the game-winner on a power play, and an assist in the Cyclones 3-1 win. Prosofsky finished the weekend with an assist on Saturday in a 4-2 Cyclones loss.

Prosofsky was called up to the American League's Springfield Falcons on Monday. He left Cincinnati as the Cyclones leader in goals (22), assists (28) and points (50).

In recognition of Prosofsky's achievement, InGlasCo will donate a case of pucks to a Cincinnati area youth hockey organization.

The Cyclones play in Dayton on Wednesday. The sportsjuice.com pre-game show begins at 6:50 p.m. eastern time before the opening face-off at 7:00 p.m.

The Cyclones return home on Friday for a showdown with the Toledo Storm. Game time is 7:30 p.m. WWE Superstar Batista will be in attendance, and U.S. Bank Arena will be hosting the wedding of two Cyclones fans.

On Saturday afternoon, the Cyclones will be at the grand opening of Streets of Westchester from noon-2 p.m.
